Extension of stay
Anyone who needs to remain beyond the date stamped in their passport.
Apply at Immigration Department headquarters before your current permission expires. This is made under section 13(3) of the Immigration Act, using Form B.
How to apply
- 1 Complete Form B.
- 2 Pay the $100 fee.
- 3 Submit with your passport and supporting documents at headquarters.
What you need
Bring the original of every document as well as a photocopy.
- Completed Form B
- Valid passport, plus a copy of the bio-data page
- Valid ticket covering the length of your stay
- One photograph
- Supporting documents such as a medical letter if the reason requires evidence
- Police certificate of character if spouse of a long-term work permit holder
