Entry visa

Non-nationals from countries that require a visa to enter Barbados.

The entry visa process is fully online. You apply, upload your documents and pay without visiting an office. Nationals of most Commonwealth and CARICOM countries do not need an entry visa for short visits. Check the list before you travel — arriving without a required visa means being refused entry.

How to apply

  1. 1 Check whether your nationality requires a visa.
  2. 2 Complete the online application and upload your passport bio-data page.
  3. 3 Pay the application fee.
  4. 4 Receive your decision by email, and carry a printed copy when you travel.

What you need

Bring the original of every document as well as a photocopy.

  • Passport valid for the duration of your trip
  • Return ticket to your country of residence
  • Address where you will be staying in Barbados
  • Evidence that you can support yourself during the visit
  • Notarised consent letter from a parent or guardian if applicant is under 18 and travelling without them

Worth knowing

  • Every arriving passenger must also complete the online Immigration and Customs form, available from 72 hours before arrival. Save the receipt to your phone or print it.
