Non-nationals with long-standing ties to Barbados.
Apply on Form A1. The application fee is not refundable, and personal cheques are not accepted.
How to apply
- 1 Complete Form A1.
- 2 Have the medical form completed by a doctor if you are over 16.
- 3 Obtain police certificates for every country you have lived in for six months or more in the past three years.
- 4 Pay the $300 fee and submit.
- 5 Pay the $1,200 final fee once approved.
What you need
Bring the original of every document as well as a photocopy.
- Completed Form A1
- Birth certificate
- Copy of the valid passport bio-data page
- Four passport photographs, one certified by a Justice of the Peace or Notary Public
- Standard medical form completed by a doctor if over 16
- General medical certificate if 16 or under
- Police certificate of character from every country you have lived in for six months or more in the past three years
- Marriage certificate and spouse's birth certificate if married to a Barbadian
- Parents' marriage certificate if born to a Barbadian mother and a non-national father
- Death or divorce certificate if a previous marriage has ended
- Letters from schools attended in Barbados, employment letter and proof of qualifications
- Notarised parental consent if under 18 and a guardian is not signing
